For My Rebecca: Day 35
Today it was really hard to work with the people around me. Competition was fierce! What do you do when the status quo says be a jerk? How do you rise above?
Well that kind of reminds me of that girl who judged you guys at state..."There's a difference between being passionate and being a jerk."
But as far as rising above the status quo, God ALWAYS calls us to do that. I'm sure you can automatically think of 10 things that are "status quo" that are immoral. Ky always says that calls us to be more. "Tge salt of the Earth." The "light of the world" remembering that always makes quite a few decisions easier for me.
