I think the hardest thing to give up, is pride. I think the hardest thing to give up, is control. I think the hardest thing to gain, is complete trust. <br /><br />"Sometimes we must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us."<br /><br />^^That quote freaked me out at first. Give up on plans? Like throwing away dreams and settling for mediocrity?<br /><br />I know, of course I would interpret it that way ;) but when I thought about it more it seemed to be saying more about giving up our own plans for the ones God has for us. <br /><br />You know the scene in Evan Almighty where Morgan Freeman tells Evan that he has to build an ark, and Evan says he can't cuz he has plans?<br />Then God in black human form laughs at him and says "YOU have plans"?<br /><br />yeah, somethin along those lines.<br /><br />Why?
